AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation army announced on Wednesday that another soldier had been killed in ongoing battles in the southern Gaza Strip, marking the second military fatality in the area within 24 hours.
The army identified the soldier as Staff Sgt. Danilo Mocanu, a member of the 7th Armored Brigade’s 82nd Battalion.
According to Israeli army radio, Mocanu was killed when a building collapsed following the detonation of an explosive device.
Israeli media also reported that the collapse of the structure resulted in serious injuries to two soldiers and moderate injuries to a third.
The incident highlights the strategic capabilities of the Palestinian resistance in conducting high-impact operations that exploit weaknesses in enemy formations on the ground.
